GRAPHICS CHECKLIST

ACCEPTED PROGRAMS:
QuarkXpress 4.41 • Photoshop 5.5 • Illustrator 9 • Microsoft Word 2001

We require hard copy readouts of what is provided on disc.
Provide separate discs for on-CD silkscreening files and graphic files for CD inserts/tray cards.

Macintosh format is preferred, but we can accept PC files for the software we support.
We are not able to accept In-Design, Pagemaker, Publisher or Corel Draw files.

ACCEPTED MEDIA:
100 & 250 MB Zip • CD-Rom • 3.5" Floppy

We require a printed directory of what is supplied on your media.

Fonts in Illustrator are to be converted to outlines.
Please provide all fonts used in your documents. Do not stylize fonts.

TIFF, JPEG and EPS images are to be a minimum of 300 DPI. PMS colors are indicated on hard copies, specified in files, and created as spot colors.

Please supply images build in Photoshop as the Photoshop document. Placed Photoshop images must be provided at 100% with a resolution of at least 300 pixels per inch in CMYK. Graphic files created in Illustrator or Photoshop are to be supplied in single-channel EPS or TIFF formats. Extend images (bleed) .125" beyond the trim line.

Please remember that images from the internet look great on screen, but are very low resolution and cannot be used for printing. Graphics for printing are much different than graphics for in-house and internet use. If you are unsure about the quality of your scans, we'd be happy to scan your materials for you. Your originals will be returned upon completion of your job.

Our award-winning design staff can create your entire package in a very high quality, yet cost-effective manner. All art-work is stored electronically and can be accessed at any time for any medium you would need. Clients will review a final proof before going to print. We are not responsible for errors once your job is approved.

Graphics Disclaimer: In order to offer the lowest prices possible, we do not budget labor time in a job to check and repair files. When we receive an order, we assume all files are print ready. Please check your files carefully. We will not be held responsible for errors when files are not submitted in exact accordance with our specifications. Even a slight
difference between our requirements and your digital file may cause a delay and is subject to rejection. Please be exact when setting up your files.

If you require consultation for your graphic design, or if it is necessary for us to you correct your artwork prior to printing your inserts, graphic services are billed at $45 per hour. Please call for a quote if you require this service.
